Terms of Service
Effective Date: 01/05/2025

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of maintenance and repair services by KBT Maintenance (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services
We provide property maintenance services including but not limited to general repairs, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and end-of-tenancy works. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Estimates and Quotes
All estimates or quotes provided are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Any additional works not covered in the quote may incur further charges, which will be agreed with you in advance.

4. Booking and Cancellation
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service cost.

5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card, and other agreed payment methods. Late payments may incur statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Liability
We will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. However, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing issues or damage not caused by our work;

Losses arising from delays beyond our control;

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Warranty
We offer a 30-day workmanship warranty on all labour unless otherwise specified. Materials and parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

8. Health & Safety
We follow all relevant UK health and safety regulations. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the site and informing us of any risks or hazards.

9. Data Protection
We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data provided to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
